Semi-Unitized Glazing
Semi-Unitized curtain walls are more economically viable on smaller projects or larger projects that require many wall conditions. The system is typically based on the use of spanning vertical and occasional horizontal components that receive the pre-aseembled, pre-glazed vision and spandrel panels. The opaque area can be a wide range of materials including glass, metal, earthen and composites.
Unitized Glazing
Unitized curtain walls are considered by most design and engineering professionals to be the most technically-sound facade solution for repetitive high-exposure building of scale. Unitized curtain walls are generally factory assembled and glazed, and can include a variety of opaque materials. The factory assembly reduces reliance on field labour, increases the quality of the curtain wall and expedites the closing-in of the building.
Spider Glazing
Spider Glazing is a major concept for facade glazing and elevation glazing using spider glass hardware. Structural support for the spider glazing can be taken from structure of the building and for the larger elevations structural support should be created with mild steel or stainless steel.
Stone Cladding
Stone Cladding is a thin layer of real or simulated stone applied to a building or other structure made of a material other than stone. Stone cladding is sometimes applied to concrete and steel buildings as part of their original architectural design.
Metal Cladding
Cladding is the bonding toghether of dissimilar metals. It is different from fusion welding or gluing as a method to fasten the metals together. Cladding is often achieved by extruding two metals through a die as well as pressing or rolling sheets together under high pressure.
